I mean ACTUAL dating, not tinder (which is mainly for hooking up). I’m kinda lonely and I’ve been single for a few years. I’ve never actively looked for someone, but my friends suggest I should. The hardest part about dating apps for me is I don’t find that many people... attractive. But I’ve only tried a couple. Tinder was a gold mine of cute guys that were interesting to talk to, but they’re all looking for hook ups.
Tinder is not for hook ups, that's a myth. The studies vary, but the distribution is about: 10% hookups 50% people looking to see what the fuss is all about (lot of couples do this too) 20% people looking to make friends or meet people 20% people looking for romantic dates and serious relationships. Which dating sites are better for finding relationships? I’ve tried Tinder, Bumble and Hinge. I feel like Tinder is definitely more of a hook-up app than a “dating” app. I’ve messaged a few guys on Bumble and some have responded, but others don’t respond at all and then time runs out. Hinge is sort of the same as Bumble.
